ADITYA ROY
Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Aditya Roy is a martial artist, storyteller and musician staying in Moira, Goa.
He’s spent the last 25 years studying and learning with various Indian and International masters. He’s trained in everything from Muay Thai to Kenjutsu.
Aditya makes a yearly journey to the Philippines to train under the legendary master of Pekiti Tirsia Kali, GrandTuhon Leo T Gaje. Aditya became only the 2nd Indian to be accepted as a direct student and disciple of GrandTuhon. Aditya also represents India in the Global PTK Convention held in Manila every year. Here he teaches, assists and fights as a representative of Pekiti Tirsia Kali India and his teacher GrandTuhon Leo T Gaje.

On 12th July. 2020 GrandTuhon awarded Aditya the rank of Tuhon, which after GrandTuhon is the highest rank in the art of Pekiti Tirsia Kali.
Less than 50 people in the world hold this rank and Aditya is currently the youngest Tuhon in the world.
In 2016 Aditya journeyed to Seattle, USA to further his training in Muay Thai with Kru Yai Belton Lubas at his school Warrior Strenght Martial Arts. There he was introduced to the legendary Ajahn Suchart. Ajahn is one of the people responsible for getting Muay Thai to North America. Ajahn Suchart accepted Aditya as one of his students and gave him the rank of Poo Choi Kru.
While in Seattle Aditya also started training in the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Coach Belton Lubas. Aditya is currently a Blue Belt in BJJ under Professor Carlos Almeida.
In May 2017 Aditya moved to Goa to set up his own martial arts school. He called it LightHaven and it is located in the village of Moira. There he works to fulfill the tasks given to him by his teachers by spreading the arts of Pekiti Tirsia Kali, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
